Hello! I’m Lucy, a twenty-three-year-old student from Melbourne. I am currently studying a Master of Publishing and Communications at the University of Melbourne in the hopes of someday entering into the world of books and calling it a career.
I am using this blog to discuss my ideas about the publishing industry, with a particular focus on the ever changing landscape of writing and novels now that the internet is here to stay. The last twenty years have seen the modes of traditional publishing completely transformed making the future of novels unpredictable and exciting.
I love all types of books from historical, to adventure, to crime. You can have a browse of my Goodreads account here (only updated with books I can remember reading within the last few years).
I currently work in an advertising agency and get some practice writing newsletters and using computer programs there. You can browse my CV here and have a look at my LinkedIn here – I hope that they will both be much more impressive in the years to come.
I am always up for a healthy debate/discussion about a book, so do let me know any recommendations or thoughts you have!
